The youth of all ages are very important at the Appalachian Christian Center. Our youth are divided into two groups. One group is for those under 13 years of age. The second group is for those 13 years and older. The second group is not limited to teenagers only. We include all those who consider themselves young in this group.
As with our Children's Church program, we believe that the children need to be taught the Word of God. We feel the children learn better when the material is presented on their level and presented on topics dealing with everyday life that effect the youth.
We believe the youth are the future church. If we want the church to survive and grow, we must minister to the youth of the church. It is important that the church offer the youth an alternative to what the world has to offer.
A variety of activities are scheduled with the youth. We try to schedule activities that are appealing to the young people that are participating in the group.
