Children's Church

42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. |
The youth are very important at the Appalachian Christian Center. Each Sunday morning Children's Church is offered to the children ages 4 - 11. We have a group of individuals who volunteer to teach the children one Sunday morning a month. The children are excused from the morning service prior to the message. A Bible lesson is taught usually along with an activity or craft that goes along with the lesson.
We believe that the children, along with Sunday School, need to be taught the Word of God starting at a early age. The Bible says, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it". We feel the children learn better when the material is presented on their level.
